President Trump gives 1st address to Congress

President Donald Trump gave his first speech to Congress Tuesday night, asking all members of Congress to join him “in dreaming big and bold and daring things for our country.”

Trump also discussed putting U.S. citizens first and calling out radical Islamic terrorism.

Throughout Trump’s hour-long speech, the majority of Democrats refused to stand and applaud when Trump discussed certain topics such as making America great again, building the wall on the Mexico border and asking the Senate to swiftly approve Neil Gorsuch’s nomination.

Tax cuts to the middle class and increase in spending for the military veterans’ benefits and infrastructure improvement were promised by Trump as well.

Trump didn’t mention any specific immigration reform policies during his speech.
