Members of the Mu Lambda Chapter of Omega Psi Phi came together on Wednesday to celebrate Black History Month through community service.
The fraternity worked the food line at Schulze cafeteria and served dishes like collard greens, peach cobbler, fried chicken and turkey necks.
According to Blair Guillory, the vice president of Omega Psi Phi, the event was put together to bring recognition to Black History Month through different types of “soul food.”
The event was put together in collaboration with Aramark and Carday Marshall, the supervisor of Schulze cafeteria and a member of the chapter.
On March 14, the fraternity is teaming up with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People to organize a blood drive on campus.
