Daniel Jamieson took part of a special internship, The Disney College Program, where he was guided in the lessons of business managemen at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla.
“Many firsts of my experiences included sky diving from 15,000 ft. at Cape Canaveral. Staying in Animal Kingdom Lodge for the weekend, as well as meeting some ESPN panelists,” Jamieson said.
“I got to meet hundreds of interesting people, including CEO’s and managers from various companies,” Jamieson said. One person in particular was Jack Blitch, a ULM alumni, who is now vice president of Imagineering at Disney.
Jamieson thanked the Career Connections Center for the opportunity. “They were very supportive and I don’t know if I would have been accepted if it was not for their efforts.”
