The third season premiere of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” can best be described as drama drama drama.
The show introduces two new housewives; Cynthia, although she wasn’t shown in the premiere episode, and Phaedra, who is a successful lawyer.
“Real Housewives” has been a ratings powerhouse for Bravo. Its only strong suit is that it appeals to a classier version of the Jerry Springer addict.
Addictive drama between bored housewives is the fuel that keeps the show in the ratings.
From the housewife Cynthia claiming she’s been proposed to three times, to NeNe and Kim’s constant love/hate relationship, and Phaedra claiming herself to be a true southern belle, it all becomes a little unbelievable.
Join the rest of the champagne sipping Springer-esque addicts to decide for yourself.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” can be seen on the Bravo Channel Mondays at 9 p.m.
