Nick Bruno, president of the University of Louisiana at Monroe, is on campus this weekend to help students celebrate homecoming.
“It’s the perfect time to be here. Homecoming is about bringing the past and present together, and I’m glad to be here,” said Bruno.
President Bruno plans on being at the Bon Fire tonight, along with the homecoming game tomorrow. He said he is very approachable, and would love to meet and talk to as many students this weekend as he can.
“Come by and see me. I will always be visible and offer a kind word and a smile,” Bruno said.
If students are not able to make it to the game this weekend, President Bruno has set up an email account for all people to email him with comments, concerns and questions. The form to send the email to Bruno can be found on the ULM homepage, www.ulm.edu.
To find the homecoming schedule of events, students and community members can also log on to the ULM homepage. Bruno is not scheduled to start his new job until Nov. 8.
