Former Northeast Louisiana University national title winning quarterback Stan Humphries was named as a women’s assistant basketball coach last week.
Humphries’ last stint at ULM was as football’s offensive coordinator in 2001. He has since been coaching as an assistant and head coach in women’s high school basketball.
His number has been retired by the football program. He is also a member of the San Diego Chargers hall of fame after leading them to a Super Bowl apperance in 1995. He won a Super Bowl with the Washington Redskins in 1992.
