Junior Jemal Parharm Jr. highlighted the track and field program at the prestigious Texas Relays held in Austin.
His personal best in the long jump of 7.63 meters shattered his old record of 7.57 meters and landed him second in the event.
Also placing in the top five was freshman Kyle Weiss in the shot put.
He delivered a throw of 16.34 meters on his first attempt to take fourth in the event.
In the hammer throw junior Alton Clay Jr. who most recently came in first in the event at the Jim Mize Invitational placed 11th with a toss of 60.06 meters.
In the men’s triple jump sophomore Lebrun Nelson leaped in to sixth place with a final jump of 15.01 meters.
He had a personal best of 15.58 meters and a fourth place finish at the Jim Mize Invitational.
Dashing in for a time of 10.67 in tbe 100 meter dash freshman Tyler Taylor came in 26th.
On the women’s side junior Alexis Gordon threw for 50.09 meters in the section A-discus throw to earn seventh place.
Junior Adriunna Brown also placed seventh in section-A of the women’s long jump with a personal best of 5.94 meters.
Brown also recorded a personal best in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:01.7.
Fellow teammate senior Brittany Miller also ran in the event and recorded a personal best of 1:03.14.
In the men’s 400 meter hurdles senior Rondell Coleman ran for a season-best time of 53.46.
Junior Andre Phillips also competed in the event and registered a time of 54.76.
The Warhawks travel to Nacogdoches, Texas, to compete in the SFA Carl Knight Invitational next Saturday.
