FANT-EWING COLISEUM – The ULM Warhawks (1-3, 0-0 SBC) lost a thriller to the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks (3-1, 0-0 Southland) by a score of 65-64, ending in a three-point shot by the Lumberjacks.
The Warhawks are being led by Fred Brown, who has 8 points and 2 free throws on the night, along with Steven McClellan, who has 7 points and 3 field goals on the night. Also, the Warhawks have made 80% of free throw attempts, and 50% of field goal attempts. The Lumberjacks are led by Jordan Glynn, who has 10 points and 4 field goals on the night.
Halftime entertainment consisted of the ULM Hawkine.
To finish up the game, the Warhawks scored 26 points on the visiting Lumberjacks, but what counted was what happened at the end of the game. With 3.4 seconds left on the clock, and ULM leading 64-62, Lumberjacks forward Zac Browning hit a 3-pointer to put the score to 65-64 over the Warhawks. Fred Brown missed the 3-pointer at the end for ULM.
The Warhawks will return to Fant-Ewing on December 11 to host Centenary College.
