Coming off a brutal beating in New Mexico, it appeared that not much had changed in a week for the Warhawks as they were manhandled by the Red Wolves Saturday night in Fayetteville, Arkansas, by a final score of 51-10.
Arkansas State scored on the first drive of the game when Justice Hansen threw for 28 yards to Warren Wand to make the game 7-0.

The Warhawks were able to take the goose egg o the board in the second quarter when Craig Ford connected on a 21-yard eld goal.
The start of the third quarter saw the Warhawks in a 42-3 hole. e Warhawks seemed to be playing for pride until the end.

After a turnover on downs by ULM and a 22- yard eld goal by Arkansas State, the Warhawks were finally able to end the back of the end zone.
Running back Thomas Koufie broke some tackles and ran 61-yards to put the Warhawks in double digits after an extra point.
With the clock winding down, the Warhawks appeared as if they might be able to tack on some more points before the end. However it was Arkansas State’s defense that got the last laugh as they sacked Will Collins when time expired to make the final score of the game 51- 10.
After Saturday’s loss, the Warhawks are now 1-3 in the Sun Belt conference. They will be looking to change their luck next week when they host the South Alabama Jaguars at Malone Stadium on Saturday Nov. 5 at 6 p.m.
