Bruno awarded by Monroe Chamber of Commerce

Dr. Nick Bruno received Rambin-Silverstein Memorial Civic Award becoming the 55th recipient of this award at the Monroe Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting and Banquet on Feb. 6, 2020.
The Rambin-Silverstein Memorial Civic Award recognizes a resident of Northeast Louisiana who has demonstrated achievement, the leadership and service for the benefit of the greater community. The award was presented by David Hampton, president of Progressive Bank.
Prior to his appointment at ULM, Bruno served at the University of Louisiana System as the vice president for Business Affairs. His previous work included serving as the vice president of Business Affairs at ULM and as an adjunct faculty member at SELU’s College of Business.
In addition to his higher education experience, Bruno is regionally and nationally recognized for his consulting expertise. He has conducted numerous professional development programs for national professional organizations.
In 2019, Bruno was appointed to the Board of Advisors for the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine – Louisiana Campus at ULM.
