Biden, Harris win 2020 election

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will be the next president and vice president of the United States. 270 electoral votes were needed to win the presidency and Pennsylvania’s 20 votes brought Biden up to 273 today. 

Harris will be the nation’s first female, Black and South Asian American vice president.

Congress will formally count the votes and confirm the winners on Jan. 6, 2021. The winner will take office on Jan. 20.
