St. Patrick’s Day is approaching, and college students may be wondering how to celebrate the holiday best. In honor of the lucky season, here are my top recommendations for where to bar crawl for the night.
Of course, I must start with Monroe’s most notorious Irish-themed pub, Enoch’s Bar and Grill. Be sure to arrive early because this place is packed to the brim with partygoers each St. Patrick’s Day. You can listen to live music, eat delicious burgers, and enjoy a large beer selection.
Just down the street, you’ll find another Irish-themed bar, Shananigans. Here, you’ll find beers and cocktails along with pool tables for playing with friends.
If you’re looking for somewhere with a walkable bar crawl, plan to spend the night at Whiskey Row. Whiskey Row is a strip with three bars where you can spend the night for just one cover charge. The crawl includes Mustang Sally’s, Cooter Bay and Siesta. Each year, Whiskey Row has live music on St. Patrick’s Day and lots of room to party all along the block.
Don’t plan to spend the night stuck at home. Instead, you’ll find plenty of places to go out and enjoy a drink the Irish way. Make sure to wear something green, so you don’t get pinched!
