As a child, Alicia “Cookie” Cook would wear her mother’s heels to put on a show for her friends and family. She didn’t know then that it would become her career. At age 21, Cook lives in Jackson, Miss. and is making progress in the modeling world.
Cook says the drive to become a super model comes from her mother who encourages and believes in her.
“I wanted to be a model because I have the passion for fashion. I just love fashion, and my mother said I was built for it,” said Cook.
Silas “Trey Parker” Stapleton, Cook’s boyfriend of 7 years said, “I admire her drive and ambition to become a super model. With both of us in the entertainment business, she reminds me how important it is to become the best you can be in your profession,” said Stapleton.
Cook’s favorite model is Chanel Iman because Cook admires her drive and dedication. “At the young age of 16, Chanel Iman achieved so much in her modeling career,” Cook informed.
“Modeling is not easy,” she continued. “ The biggest struggle I have is balancing school and modeling together. It’s hard to stay focused when trying to pursue a career in a tough business.”
After school, Cook hopes to be a successful super model and entrepreneur. Cook hopes to open a Christian modeling agency and school of arts for youth.
Cook started with local fashion shows that lead to being in a local magazine. This led to larger advertisements. Her biggest accomplishment was being selected as the 2009 “WetSeal” model search winner. She appeared in over 400 WetSeal stores nationwide.
Currently, Cook has a modeling contract with Pink BombShell clothing store located in Jackson, Mississippi.
