ABC’s new comedy series “GCB,” based off the novel “Good Christian Bitches,” premiered for the first time on March 4, and its original title speaks for itself. Lets just say “Belles” was originally a mouthful and was quickly changed when complaints were arising. “GCB” may have jaws dropping, but yet are many curious to set eyes on the new controversial series. The first episode just aired, but it looks promising. Amanda Vaughn, former high school mean girl, is forced to move back to her hometown of Dallas after her husband dies in a car accident. Her life unfolds when her Christian neighbors, whom she once picked on in high school, want her gone. While Amanda has matured, her former high school classmates haven’t and still resent her. It’s obvious the girls don’t live up to their so-called Christian morals.
