ULM is asking students, faculty and staff to make sure their emergency information is current on the FirstCall emergency notification system should it need to be activated during Tropical Storm Isaac.
The system will issue alerts via email, text message and telephone should it be necessary during the storm.
Isaac is expected to make landfall along the Louisiana or Mississippi coast on Wednesday and make its way across the state on Wednesday and Thursday. The National Weather Service in Shreveport said North Louisiana could experience wind and heavy rain from the storm.
