Letter to the Editor

As stated in the Student Publications Handbook, The Hawkeye accepts letters to the editor. A letter to the editor allows our readers to share their thoughts and opinions directly with staff.

All letters to the editor will be considered for publication. A letter must be submitted to The Hawkeye by 5:00 p.m. the Thursday prior to publication.

The Hawkeye reserves the right to edit letters for grammar and clarity, and all letters are subject to laws governing obscenity, libel, privacy and disruption of the school process, as are all contents of the paper. The Hawkeye also reserves the right to place letters in both the print and web editions of the publication.
