‘Glee’ expands on its storytelling

%E2%80%98Glee%E2%80%99+expands+on+its+storytelling+

Last season, “Glee” focused on singing rather than character development and it worked well for the show.

The writers are proving their talent even more by focusing on character development and tackling sometimes taboo topics.

One example is the character Kurt Hummel. He is a young man who has had to experience a lot of teasing because of his sexuality, but one of the most shocking moments was when his father experienced a heart attack and he revealed that he didn’t believe in God.

Artie Abrams has a more developed role, too. Artie lost his virginity to a girl who was only using him. It crushed him because he thought that he would never be able to be intimate with someone ever again.

Continue to focus on the strong character development and the wide varieties songs that mesh so well with the plot of the show and “Glee” will become one of the best shows on television.

“Glee” can be seen on Fox Tuesdays at 9pm/8c.
