There are four editors credited to “Jonah Hex.” This is a bad sign as too many cooks can ruin the whole dish.

Based on the DC Comics series, “Jonah Hex” was an original story about a western anti-hero, something largely unseen in the comics world. But we’ve seen more than enough western movies.

In the comics, Jonah Hex would occasionally fight the supernatural, but he didn’t have magical powers until Hollywood misinterpreted “Hex.”

Josh Brolin, John Malkovich and Michael Shannon are underused in the characers. And Megan Fox plays a prostitute. ‘Nuff said.
