Gustaf Kocken’s bid for a third straight individual golf title fell short Monday as the ULM men’s golf team finished in 10th at the Lone Star Invitational.
Kocken finished three strokes back and tied for seventh place with a score of two-under par. The Swedish native shot a 68 in the tournament’s first round but cooled off with scores of 74 and 72 to finish the tournament.
ULM collectively shot an 894 and finished 39 strokes behind tournament champion Texas-Arlington.
The Warhawks will compete in the Houston Baptist Intercollegiate Invitational to close out the fall season.
