ULM students arrested

Three ULM students were arrested early this morning and charged with terrorizing after reportedly acting as if they were going to “kidnap” two other students.

According to the affidavits, two female victims contacted police after a group of males in a white Ford Mustang approached them outside of Schulze Cafeteria at approximately 2:45 a.m. The victims said the males began to scream, “get them, get them now.”

The three suspects have been identified as Micheal D. Andrade, 19; Jerrick Avery Jones, 19 and Elijah Reed Walker, 19.

According to the reports, the victims got into their car and locked the doors with the keys still in the trunk lock. One of the victims exited the car to retrieve the keys and saw the Ford Mustang return with its lights off. The suspects were again screaming to “get them now.”

Multiple agencies’ units responded to the incident and apprehended the three suspects.

Andrade and Walker told police that they were in the car driven by Jones. They claimed that they didn’t know the victims and the whole situation was a joke.
