The ULM Warhawks volleyball team (0-21, 0-12 SBC) still searches for a win after losing to Louisiana-Lafayette (16-12, 6-6 SBC) Tuesday night at the ULM Activity Center by a score of 3-0. The Warhawks were very close, slipping in the end with set scores of 25-17, 25-21, and 25-17. Stephanie Wardach led ULM with three spikes, seven kills, and 21 team assists. Blanca Ocana was also a key player, having three spikes and six kills, and 17 team assists. “Although this was the hardest game we’ve ever played, we keep improving and getting better,” said Iren Marinova of the game. “We definitely had a chance to win tonight.”
