The following has been emailed to all ULM students and faculty Sunday Oct. 12 at 9:00 p.m.
Dear Colleagues and Students,
At approximately 6:20 p.m. today, a concerned citizen reported to University and Monroe Police that he observed a white female jogging north of campus on Bon Aire Dr. The female was approached by a red vehicle when she started yelling for help, was forced inside, and the vehicle proceeded north away from campus. Officers are actively investigating the incident and there are no further details at this time. If you have any information regarding this incident, contact University Police at 318-342-5350.
This information is being released in accordance with the federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act. The Clery Act requires all colleges and universities that participate in federal financial aid programs to keep and disclose information on and near their respective campuses, including timely warnings of crimes that may represent a serious or continued threat to the safety of students or employees.
