MONROE, La. – The ULM Warhawks (2-1, 0-0 SBC) put up another home victory against the NSU Lady Demons (1-2, 0-0 Southland Conference) at Fant-Ewing Coliseum by a score of 81-68. The Warhawks were led, scoring-wise, by junior Kassie Courtney with 17 points (she had a perfect 3-point streak, going 3 for 3), followed closely by senior Sannisha Williams, who had 16 on the night, along with 5 rebounds and 3 assists.
The Warhawks were helped out by a solid first half of play, starting out with a score of 14-2, and never trailing the entire game. The largest lead that the Warhawks gained was 42-19. The Warhawks will travel to Centenary State on Tuesday to play at 5:30 PM.
