The Peter Parker (Tom Holland) we have all found surprisingly charming from his perfect balance of nerdy and relatability is back.

Re-entering the exhaustingly unsatisfying world of high school after his mission with the Avengers, Spider-Man is a bit restless.

Compared to his previous endeavors, Peter seems to find a lack of adventure in his hometown Queens.

Zendaya also makes an appearance in this film as Michelle, Peter’s classmate.

Her odd behavior and her ability to just pop up in places makes for an entertaining subtlety to the movie.

As the viewers travel alongside the sophomore battling the war of high school, it becomes increasingly difficult to not root for the young and determined Peter Parker.

From crushing on Liz (Laura Harrier), a senior out of his league, to almost using Spider-Man as an olive branch of welcoming from the cool kids, there is an unmistakable understanding of how Peter Parker feels at times.

Liz provides a refreshing perspective into the love life of Peter Parker, straying away from the accustomed red headed Mary Jane or blonde Gwen Stacy.

“Spider-Man: Homecoming” also comically presents the nerdy duo Peter Parker and his friend, Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon).

Although known for his scientific talents, Peter Parker struggles to deactivate his tracker in the “spidey suit” but gets a little help from Ned figuring it out.

This enables Parker to set forth on an exciting mission to end the villain Vulture’s deadly deeds.

Played by the talented Michael Keaton, this evil black marketer uses a set of terrifying wings to take out Spider-Man.

From the kind-hearted goofiness young Spider-Man embodies to the gasp worthy interactions of Spider-Man and Vulture, the movie keeps viewers begging for more.

Tom Holland fits the well known and loved character of Spider-Man, which is a necessity to enjoy any superhero movie.
