What better way to celebrate a carnival themed Spring Fever week than an actual carnival night? Campus Activities Board had around 12 red and white tents set up in the activity center last week to create a pop-up carnival on campus.

Terri Honore, a social work senior, said that the event helped her connect with her country lifestyle.

“CAB events are always fun; I just came when I knew about the carnivals,” Honore said.

Her favorite game of the night was target shooting.

Some students like Oluwagbotemi Omojola attended the event to celebrate their last Spring Fever on campus. Omojola, a biology senior, said that he attended the event just because of the carnival theme. However, he said that the event would have possibly had room for more games and a bigger turnout had it been hosted outdoors.

The carnival also had a photo booth for students to capture their carnival experience. Winners of each game returned home with stuffed animals and plastic toys. The event also had classic carnival treats like waffle stick, sweet drinks and cotton candy.
