ULM SOFTBALL COMPLEX – The ULM Warhawks (14-13, 3-3 SBC) beat the the Centenary College Ladies (2-15, 1-4 Summit) in a mercy rule contest by a score of 8-0. ULM’s lone hit before the third came from Roxane Cassel in the first inning.
However, the Warhawks scored five runs in the third inning alone, coming from Brianna Love, Katie Girardi, Janel Salanoa, Melissa Rivera, and Miyuki Navarrete.
In the fourth inning, the Warhawks tacked on two more runs by Brianna Love and Elena DiMattia, and a midfield collision by Centenary while Janel Salanoa hit a fly ball, to bring the score to 8-0 in favor of the Hawks.
