The Chennault Fest combined fun with a good cause, fundraising for the Chennault Aviation and Military Museum—a tribute to the region’s aviation and military heritage. The festival saw thousands of attendees over its two days of operation.
The price of a standard admission ticket was $20, with discounts offered for fire, police and military workers. Live music set Chennault above the standard state fair experience.
Junior biology pre-med major Noah Stephan spoke about his experience attending the event.
“I think it’s a really cool event, especially for the community to be able to come out and have a good time,” Stephan said. “It will really benefit the museum.”
