Your student ID gets you into campus events and the Schulze dining hall, but it is more powerful than you think. Major brands such as ULTA and Nike offer student discounts, and all you need is that little plastic card.
Most students listen to music on the way to class but lose part of it to ads. Spotify and Apple Music have fixes. Students pay just $6.99 for Spotify Premium, unlocking ad-free listening, offline downloads and unlimited skips. Apple Music comes in even cheaper at $5.99 a month and throws in Apple TV+ for free. Then there is YouTube Premium: $8.99 for students gets you ad-free videos, background play, offline downloads and full access to YouTube Music Premium.
On the movie front, Hulu and HBO Max have students covered. Hulu with ads is just $1.99 per month, unlocking thousands of shows, movies and originals. HBO Max’s ad-supported plan runs $5.49 a month and includes the full HBO library in HD. Both are verified through UNiDAYS or SheerID, an affordable way to keep streaming through college.
Canva, The New York Times and Adobe Creative Cloud prove your education can be fun too, not just movie night. Canva for Campus is completely free for eligible students, offering premium features such as millions of templates, a background remover and magic resize. The New York Times student plan runs roughly $1 per week for the first year, giving full digital access to news and educational resources. Adobe Creative Cloud is by far the largest discount at $24.99 per month for students, down from $60.99. It includes over 20 professional apps such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Illustrator.
Whether you are heading across campus to class or meeting friends at the Hub, looking your best should not cost a fortune.
