Former ULM running back shot

According to police reports, Frank Goodin, former ULM running back, and another male fought in July at the Executive Blues Lounge in Grambling, La. The man allegedly pulled out a handgun and began firing shots.  Police say 23-year-old Goodin suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body, and was transported to the LSU Medical Center in Shreveport. He has since been released and is doing well.

Seniors Troy Evans and Darius Prelow said what happened to Goodin was not right.

“It caught my eyes by surprise,” Prelow said, “It definitely was a reality check.”

Evans said Goodin “was like a brother” to him.

“Whatever he (Frank) goes through, I go through,” Evans said. “That hit home for me, not on just an athletic level but on a personal level too.”
