MONROE, La. – In a game to remember, the ULM Warhawks downed the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks 5-4 at the ULM softball complex.
With the Lumberjacks scoring first, the Warhawks roared back, scoring two runs of their own in the fifth to tie the game at two a piece.
With the game going into extra innings, the Ladyjacks scored two more runs, bringing the score to 4-2, in favor of SFA.
However, with two outs left, both DiMattia and Navarette scored off of a walk-off single by Roxy Cassel, bringing the victory home for the Warhawks.
