Robert Duvall, Sissy Spacek and Bill Murray get top billing but it’s Robert Duvall as Felix Bush who makes the film worth watching.
Spacek’s character humanizes Bush, which leaves Murray, having mastered the delivery of dry humor, to play the cynical everyman who isn’t as interested as Bush in the manna of heaven.
