Monroe- Solid outside shooting wasn’t enough to give the Warhawks a lead late in the game Saturday. ULL out rebounded ULM 40 to 19, which allowed the Cajuns to score most of their points down low. ULM leading scorers Fred Brown, Charles Winborne and Trent Mackey each helped the Warhawks gain momentum throughout the game. Prior to halftime Brown drove baseline and flushed a tomahawk dunk to bring ULM to within six and put a little life in the colisiuem. Winborne and Mackey hit seven three-pointers between the two and kept the Hawks close but bad shooting inside the arch never allowed a comeback. The three finished scoring 24, 18, and 12 respectfully.
