Although this year’s Spring Fever concert was on rotation to feature a rap or R&B artist, it was announced at CAB’s regular meeting last Thursday that a comedy show will be taking place instead.

According to Laura Jennings, director of student life and Leadership, both SGA and CAB were excited about having a rap or R&B artist, but none of the options have worked out.

Jennings said that they will revisit this genre next year instead of wasting it this year on a mediocore artist.

Each year, Spring Fever concerts rotate between 3 genres, rap or R&B, rock and country. This will be the first big comedy show on campus in years, and according to Jennings there are some big possibilities.
