The water crisis in Flint, Mich. is a problem that hasn’t begun to stop.
The mostly-minority city has been drinking discolored, bad-tasting, gross-smelling water for almost two years, since the state government switched the water supply. The water comes from the polluted Flint River and contains toxic levels of lead.
Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. members collected money for the citizens of Flint last Wed. in the SUB and the Quad. They spread word of their fundraiser through social media and flyers, and raised $400 overall.
